We are remote by design. Here's exactly how to reach our mountain farm in Biliran Island, whichever direction you come from.

Three ways to reach us

3 hours after landing

1Fly into Manila or Cebu, then connect to Tacloban (TAC) — several daily flights, about 1 hour.
2From Tacloban airport, take a tricycle to Robinsons Mall Marasbaras Terminal, then take a Duptours, McLynn or Van Vans van direct to Cabucgayan/Caibiran, Biliran (2.5–3 hrs, ~₱300, air-conditioned).
3Buses also run from Tacloban to Cabucgayan/Caibiran and Naval.
4For packaged tours, we arrange an inclusive pick-up at the airport.

4–6 hours door to door

1From Cebu airport, take a metered taxi or Grab to Cebu City pier (whichever pier your ferry of choice leaves from). The fast ferry leaves from Pier 3.
2From Cebu City pier, take a fast ferry to Naval, Biliran (3–3.5 hrs, ~₱2,000). You can book this ferry at Barkota.com — the company is called Seacat, running on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. If you miss this ferry, don't worry: there are ferries overnight to Naval, and fast or slow ferry options to Ormoc City. From Ormoc, take a van to Cabucgayan/Caibiran (2.5–3 hrs, ~₱300).
3From Naval port, a van or jeepney reaches Balaquid Elementary School, or ride a hired passenger motorcycle to Tagaytay Village in about an hour.
4Oceanjet, Lite Ferries and Supercat all run daily crossings — book a day ahead in high season.
5We arrange pick-up from Naval, Biliran port for packaged tours.

12–24 hours, for the patient

1From Manila or Cebu, long-haul buses reach Ormoc or Biliran Island; continue to Tagaytay Village.
2The coastal road from Southern Luzon to Biliran Province is one of the most beautiful drives in the country.
3We recommend this only if you love slow travel and sea views.

Send us your arrival details and we'll arrange pickup in Tacloban, Cebu or Naval (45–60 min to the farm, small fee or included in the travel package).
The last stretch is a mountain road — a tricycle or sturdy motorbike is best. We can also arrange a water buffalo ride to the farm; a short trek is necessary to the site.
Arrive before 4 PM so you reach the farm in daylight; the road has no lights.
